The Story of Isi!!!!!
Hi, my name Deer, or Isi, in your language. I am in the Algonquin tribe of the south west. I live by the water and the mountains. I live in a Large house. Our roof is made of buffalo hide and our walls are made of ceder tree. Our house is very warm in the winter because of our fire place. Most of our furniture is made of things related to the animals we had killed. After we eat all edible parts of the animal, we use the bones, the fur, and every thing in between. We use the bones for toys and the fur for blankets and clothes. We also use the hide for clothes, and prickles for the decorations on our clothes.
I have many people in my family, to be exact, 10 people ( if you include my two horses and me.) My mother is named Aylen and she is 34 years old. Then there is my dad, whose name is Howi, and he is 42 years old. Then comes me, and I am 10 yrs old (I’m going from oldest to youngest.) As you know my name is Isi J! Then comes my annoying little brother named Wapasha. He’s 8 years old. Then there are my two twin sisters, Doli and Jaki. They are both 4 years old. Then comes my toddler sister, and she's 2 years old. Her name is Ca’rissa. Then comes my 4 month old baby sister, Lilyue! Last but not least, my two horses, Kele and Aponi. I love going out on a beautiful day and riding Kele (Kele is mine and Aponi is my dads.) I love Kele so much, and she loves it when I rub her on the nose and give her carrots! Here are few pictures of them.

This is my dad and my brother on our horses Kele and Aponi.
This is my mom, my twin sisters, my toddler sister, and my baby sister.
We eat many kinds of different food such as geese, buffalo, porcupine, bunny. In the non-meat group we eat turnips, roots, lettuce, and corn, but my favorite is strawberries!!! I have to pick the strawberries. The last time I went picking strawberries, by the time I got out of the patch, all the scrumptious strawberries were out of the basket and in my stomach.
I have to do many chores, such as picking up the horse poop with my bare hands (that’s one of the downers of having a horse)! But there are also good chores like picking the strawberries. But when I pick the strawberries, I have to resist eating them because the last time I brought home an empty basket I was in a lot of trouble!!!
My best friend is also in our tribe, and her name is Kasa, meaning dressed in furs. She has 2 older brothers, one little brother, and one baby sister. She's my best friend in the whole world! She has a horse too. Her horse's name is Asls. We love riding together all day! Its SO much fun. I love her (as a sister). We love sleeping at each others large houses, picking strawberries together or even staying up all night!
Well I'll write again later, thanks!
